Position: RN Stepdown PCU

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Location: Plano, TX

Unit: PCU Tele 7th Floor (635)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Stepdown PCU team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, including 2 years of specialty experience in a progressive care unit or stepdown environment. This is a great opportunity for a skilled nursing professional to work in a fast-paced and rewarding setting.

General Qualifications

• Active RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke certification required

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MEDITECH documentation system
• Prior experience in a PCU/Stepdown unit

Dress Code

The following dress code policies apply:

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails; no artificial nails, gel nails, or next generation nails permitted.
• Hair: Must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Hair should be pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
• Beards, Mustaches, and Sideburns: Must be clean and neatly trimmed.
• Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible tattoos should be addressed individually.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings.

Floating Policy

Floating may be required as needed based on unit demands.

Attendance Policies

Adherence to the company's attendance policy is expected.
