Pay: $20-$22/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00AM-3:30PM 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Quality Inspector for our client in the Decatur, AL area. In this role, you will support production and quality operations by performing inspections, verifying compliance, maintaining documentation, and ensuring products meet company and customer standards.

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with multiple views to verify part and assembly compliance
Use precision measuring tools including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Tape measures
- Pin/plug gauges
- Indicators
- Surface plates
- Gauge blocks
Perform receiving inspections on raw materials
Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation
Verify in-process audits are completed and properly documented
Follow all company quality policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Work independently while meeting production deadlines
Support continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience
Must Have Sheet Metal experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience using inspection and measurement tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Steel-toed boots required
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday |7:00AM-3:30PM 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour DOE
