Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior ThoughtSpot Developer with 8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ThoughtSpot development and administration, along with expertise in cloud platforms and modern cloud data warehouses.

Required Skills

ThoughtSpot

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ThoughtSpot development and administration.
• Strong experience creating Worksheets, Liveboards, Answer Boards, and Search-driven Analytics.
• Strong understanding of ThoughtSpot data modeling, metadata management, and security.
• Experience integrating ThoughtSpot with cloud data platforms.
• Experience with ThoughtSpot performance tuning and query optimization.
• Ability to develop reusable analytics frameworks and best practices.

Cloud & Data Platforms

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
  • AWS
  • Azure
  • GCP
• Experience working with cloud-native data warehouses/data platforms such as:
  • Snowflake
  • BigQuery
  • Amazon Redshift
  • Azure Synapse
  • Databricks
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering and analytics architectures.

SQL

• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, transformation, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
• Experience working with large-scale analytical datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise analytics solutions using ThoughtSpot.
• Create and maintain Worksheets, Liveboards, Answer Boards, and ThoughtSpot data models.
• Integrate ThoughtSpot with cloud data warehouses and data lakes.
• Gather analytics and reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ThoughtSpot solutions.
• Establish reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices for analytics delivery.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards are followed.
• Participate in architecture and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and business teams.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
