You should have design experience with the analysis and design of OSP FTTP/FTTx, BAU, CAF, CRAN and OSP similar projects. You will have experience with the design of work orders, customer equipment projects, existing equipment locations, analysis of field data, customer inputs, ROW/Permitting requirements and final design specifications. You will report directly to the Section Manager in Allen, TX.Ideal candidates will report to the Allen office daily or potentially work a hybrid (in-office/remote) scheduleYou Will: Design OSP Engineering packages within FTTP/FTTx, BAU, CAF, CRAN project scopes.Work closely with senior designers to finalize drawings, calculations and equipment applications for the telecom industry using ARAMIS, MIC, JAM and other CAD programs.Organizes and analyzes drawings prior tosetup and discusses project complexity and time estimates with technical and supervisory personnel.Maintain project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records and documentation per company policies.
