Registered Nurse - Oncology Infusion Clinic (926056) Flexible Work Schedule: (5) 8-Hour Shifts, (4) 10-Hour Shifts or (3) 12-Hour Shifts Job Summary Position works under general supervision to assist oncology patients, families, and caregivers to overcome healthcare barriers (including but not limited to social, financial, or physical barriers). The RN conducts ongoing assessments of need and facilitates referrals throughout the oncology continuum of care, using the nursing process and evidence-based knowledge to provide education and resources that facilitate informed decision‑making by the patient and/or family. Interprets health status data to anticipate patient, family, and physician needs; develops appropriate plan of care and prioritizes oncology‑nursing interventions. Identifies and implements nursing interventions; completes accurate, timely documentation; collaborates with all healthcare team members. Evaluates interventions, modifies care, documents changes; prioritizes interventions based on data, orders, guidance, and procedures. Adheres to clinic policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice while delivering oncology‑nursing care. Provides timely patient education and documentation; demonstrates effective communication across age groups. Supervises, directs, and coordinates patient care assignments; delegates duties within legal parameters. Prepares for procedures, obtains supplies, operates instruments, and performs safe, cost‑effective nursing care. Serves as technical subject‑matter resource or preceptor; completes written performance evaluations promptly. Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to counts, errors, patient care, relationships, equipment, supplies, environment; escalates to leadership when needed.
