Come join our team!Job Overview: This position supports the legal department and staff attorneys on all corporate legal matters. Areas of responsibility include evaluating legal/contractual documents for compliance with terms and conditions, handling legal correspondence with Loomis customers, conducting legal evaluations, handling litigation, and monitoring sensitive risk- and financial-related data for trends. This position reports to the VP Legal Services.Duties and responsibilities:Support Loomis attorneys in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting service agreements, vendor agreements, real estate agreements, and other cash management agreements. Responsible for ensuring contract terms and conditions meet the company's contracting requirementsFrequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, landlords, and others, along with external counselRouting legal notices and correspondence to the appropriate internal departmentsLimited contract review, revision, and redlining (depending on experience)Performing document and contract managementProcessing contract amendmentsLitigation supportSupporting negotiation of Non-Disclosure AgreementsResponding to various legal requests from sales teamsSupport research regarding legal contracting and contract management toolsResponding to internal requests for contractual templatesAssist with contract dispute tracking and analysisComplianceSupporting review and processing of legal invoicesSupporting departmental project auditsAuditing petty cash (receipting process)Licensing issuesOther duties as assigned.Skills and responsibilities:College degree with paralegal experience in handling corporate legal work, including real estate, contract negotiation, litigation, and employment preferredMinimum of five years of paralegal or contracts manager experience requiredExperience in either transportation or financial services industries a plusExcellent technical skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, requiredExperience in an environment that requires multitasking and strong organizational skillsProven written and oral communication skillsLoomis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
