More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day.A Brief OverviewThe Radiology Transport is consistently thorough to verify patient identification, verify all transport information on the patient's order, transport patients in a timely manner as requested, utilizes all safety equipment to secure the patient, and explain the transport process to the patient and/or family member to facilitate cooperation and alleviate patient and/or family anxiety. The Radiology Transport Aide consistently demonstrates competency in affective communication and proper body mechanics.What You Will DoPerforms medical transport for patients to and from the Radiology Department.Applies proper body mechanics while lifting, pulling, and pushing patients and equipment during patient transfer and transport.Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.Provides excellent patient care.Cover all sites as necessary.Education QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent PreferredExperience QualificationsPrevious experience with patient care in a hospital setting.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication skillsDemonstrates excellent customer service.Licenses and CertificationsBasic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is RequiredPhysical DemandMedium Physical Demand.
