Department Specialist/Children's Services, Tewksbury Public Library (Tewksbury) The TPL is searching for a Specialist to assist the Children's Librarian with a variety of support duties serving families in our lively Children's Department. Assist with programming, planning, collection maintenance, reference and readers advisory with children ages 0-11 and their families in mind. Qualifications Formal education required: at least 2 years college. Appropriate experience may be considered to partially fulfill this requirement for a candidate actively pursuing a college course of study. Formal training in child development, teaching, etc. is preferred. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Previous experience with computers is required. Experiences in library services is preferred.
