School Nurse (LPN) - Salem, NH

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide care in a nurturing school environment just outside of Salem, NH. This rewarding contract position spans ESY dates from July 7th to July 30th, 2026, offering a part-time schedule of three mornings per week from 8:30 to 11:30 AM.


Your knowledge as an LNA, LPN, LVN, or Certified Nurse Assistant will ensure every student receives supportive, responsive care while attending their ESY program.


Key Qualifications:

• Active LNA, LPN, LVN, or CNA certification required
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to collaborate well with educational staff and healthcare professionals
• Compassion and patience in working with children of diverse needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing routine and emergency medical care as directed
• Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with IEPs or care plans
• Monitoring students' health status and documenting observations
• Supporting student safety, including assistance with activities of daily living when needed
• Communicating concerns promptly with relevant staff and guardians
• Maintaining confidentiality and upholding school and state healthcare policies
