The unit is staffed by a total of 36 personnel, including RNs, externs, and a leadership team consisting of a Director, Manager, and Clinical Coordinator during the day shift. General Information Patient Ratios: 2:1, 3:1, 1:1 Type of Equipment: Tablo, Belmont, Baxter Pumps, Codman EVDs, Hillrom Call System, Imobile, Hemosphere Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Qualifications Required Skills ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) Experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Preferred Skills PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NIH Stroke Scale Certification TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification Typical Procedures Performed External Ventricular Drains (EVDs) Therapeutic Hypothermia (TTM) Centrally Inserted Catheters and Lines Thoracentesis and Paracentesis Lumbar Drain Insertions Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate will possess a strong team-focused attitude, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a high-pressure environment.
