Exciting opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to make an immediate impact through a short-term virtual contract. This part-time role centers on providing specialized support to a school-based setting, helping students thrive and ensuring quality supervision for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana
• Previous experience working in school-based settings is preferred
• Strong understanding of virtual therapy practices
• Comfortable supervising and mentoring a COTA
• Skilled in conducting re-evaluations across all grade levels
• Available to begin immediately and commit for one to two months

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete timely and comprehensive re-evaluations for students at various grade levels, ensuring compliance with requirements
• Conduct PreK evaluations on Fridays as part of the assessment process
• Provide supervision and ongoing support to a COTA, ensuring best practices and quality of care
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, students, and families
• Transition to providing COTA supervision only after the end of the short-term contract (flat fee arrangement to follow contract period)
