Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Medical Care / Progressive Care – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm, Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. Patient ratio 1:3.

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown settings
• Ventilator and transplant experience required
• ICU or IMC and surgical post-op experience required
• Must pass facility telemetry examination prior to start (80% passing score; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms and 3rd degree heart blocks)
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, central line care, chest tube management, and other critical skills
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
