Laboratory Scientist

JOB SUMMARY

This role supports PAMS laboratory activities, including sample preparation, routine analysis, and instrument maintenance, in collaboration with analytical and metabolism scientists and other PSC disciplines. The technician will handle radio-labeled materials and contribute to project teams, ensuring efficient execution of lab tasks and clear communication. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with analytical and metabolism scientists to perform lab activities such as sample preparation, routine analysis, and daily instrument maintenance. Work closely with other PSC disciplines on project teams, coordinating sample transport, lab safety, and cross-disciplinary support. Communicate assignments and deliverables clearly to team members. Prepare protocols, methods, and technical reports with supervision. Perform routine instrumentation maintenance and manage lab supplies. Conduct physicochemical tests including feed stability, solubility, logD, and hydrolysis. Required Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Forensics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good computer skills. Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience with LC or GC techniques. Experience with wet chemistry techniques. Past lab work experience outside of academic coursework is preferred. Experience with LC/MS or GC/MS techniques is desirable.
