Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology

Registered Nurse – Outpatient Care

Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, days vary (rotating)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• ONS certification required
• At least 2-3 years of recent nursing experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for outpatients in a clinic setting according to established standards of care.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including patients and families, to provide safe and effective patient care.
• Collect and analyze relevant patient data to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health-related matters.
