Under the guidance of the Area Head, adjunct faculty members teach courses, facilitate course activities/assessments and provide students with timely feedback, while promoting W&M values. Adjunct faculty are provided with professional learning opportunities and are invited to attend on-campus events. The mission of the Raymond A. The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary is recruiting a pool of adjunct faculty to teach one or more undergraduate/graduate courses in Management related topics. Position duties include: • Review course content, activities, activities, assignments and assessments prior to the term start date. • Prepare a syllabus (with guidance from the Area Head and/or Lead instructor). • Coordinate course activities with the Area Head and/or lead instructor, and the Associate Dean for the program as necessary. • Promote academic integrity. • Support student learning using W&M's learning management system. • Support documented student accommodations. • Meet all designated course instruction guidelines and adhere to the academic credit hour policies & guidelines. • Maintain frequent and open communication with Department Chair, other faculty and staff through email, mail, telephone, and any other medium deemed appropriate. • Provide students with timely and specific feedback. • Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours. • Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner (48–72 hours). • Offer weekly office hours for individual or group consultation. • Submit final grades according to William & Mary policy and the individual program calendars. • Submit end-of-semester feedback and reflection form. • Complete all required training and orientation activities prior to the term start date.**Job Description:****Required Qualifications:**Please make sure your cover letter and resume clearly indicate how you meet the following required qualifications:* Master's Degree directly related to the discipline or a Bachelor's Degree with extensive and significant experience related to the discipline.* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.* Ability to incorporate technology in education processes.**Preferred Qualifications:**Please make sure your cover letter and resume clearly indicate whether you meet any of the preferred qualifications:* Ph.D. or other doctoral degree directly related to the discipline.* Expertise and relevant professional experience in a closely related field.* Previous experience providing instruction in an academic or corporate setting.* Computer proficiency and experience using Blackboard or a similar learning management system.**Other Details:**For full consideration please submit CV/resume, cover letter, teaching statement and unofficial transcripts (note - official transcripts from highest degree earned will be required at the time of hire).You may also upload evidence of your teaching effectiveness and communication skills (if available).The review of applications is ongoing, and only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Hired candidates are required to provide official transcripts prior to the contracted start date.This part-time position is restricted to the term in which it is assigned and hired, and is not eligible for benefits.This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.**Additional Job Description:****Job Profile:**JP0738 - Adjunct Professor NTE - Exempt - Salary - S99**Qualifications:****Compensation Grade:**S99**Recruiting Start Date:**2026-07-01**Position Restrictions:**Restricted Term**EEO is the Law.
