Whether you've worked on cars, farm equipment, heavy equipment, trailers, or simply have strong mechanical aptitude, we'll help you build the skills needed to become a well-rounded Tractor/Trailer technician. What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections
- Repair trailer brakes, suspension, hubs, and wheel ends
- Replace lights, wiring, ABS components, and electrical systems
- Repair doors, roofs, floors, and trailer bodies
- Diagnose and repair air systems
- Perform DOT inspections
- Weld and fabricate minor trailer repairs (training available)
- Work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills
As your experience grows, you'll have opportunities to train on:
- Diesel engines
- Tractor preventative maintenance
- Air brake systems
- Truck electrical diagnostics
- Steering and suspension
- Engine diagnostics and repair
