Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and hands‑on Siemens scanner proficiency. Requirements Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required Recent experience with multiple pediatric patients within the last six months required Siemens scanner experience is mandatory ARRT (R) and BLS certification required License required if applicable Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Proficiency in abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, and MSK imaging Experience with special imaging procedures including CINE, diffusion, gradient echo, MIP, and MRP Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration Comfortable starting peripheral IVs in pediatric patients Experience with MR Angio lower extremity with bilateral runoff preferred Responsibilities Pediatric acute care and outpatient MRI department serving neonate to 26-year-old patients Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging for neuro, body, MSK, and angio cases Performs both sedated and non-sedated procedures Uses GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners, Bayer injectors, Invivo monitoring, and GE PACS EPIC EMR used Monday-Friday mid shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 2:45 PM-11:15 PM Possible weekend coverage of 1 shift per contract No call requirements Floating to different units required based on assignment needs First-time travelers accepted Two supervisory references required at time of consideration; charge nurse references do not qualify Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at this facility within the last 2 years 60-mile radius rule applies for local candidates Floating to different units is a standard expectation for this facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-748959 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
