Wound, Burn and Ostomy Physician Assistant

Montefiore Medical Center seeking an experienced Physician Assistant as part of a comprehensive Wound Care Program. Under the auspices of Family Medicine, this position allows for seeing patients of all ages, and ability to perform minor procedures including wound debridement. As part of our exciting and diverse position within a dynamic program, the associate s responsibilities include preforming wound care consults, follow-up visits, and assisting physicians with bedside debridement and bone biopsies in the inpatient setting. Our dynamic team also conducts nursing home round and participates in the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students. Excellent growth opportunity for outpatient clinic coverage and as a provider in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. As a teaching hospital, our team is involved with the education of PAs, medical staff and interdisciplinary professionals regarding wound care issues. Permanent full-time position, Monday through Friday Wound care experience preferred but not required.
