Schedule: 39-week assignment in an ambulatory clinic setting, seeing minimum 15 patients per day with comprehensive support staff

Highlights:

• Ambulatory Hematology/Oncology clinic position with primary focus on benign hematology (60-65% of caseload)
• Bread and butter Hem/Onc – follow-up and new patient consultations, prescriptions, and pharmacy coordination
• Strong interdisciplinary support including nurses, navigators, administrative staff, pharmacy, physicians, APPs, and infusion specialists
• EPIC EMR system with pre-start assessment required
• 39-week contract with travel, lodging, and rental car provided
• Overtime and holiday pay at 1.5x regular rate

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Hematology and/or Oncology (dual certification preferred; if seeing oncology patients, Oncology BC required)
• Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain
• DEA certification required
• BLS certification current
• Minimum 2-3 years of Hematology/Oncology experience
• EPIC EMR proficiency preferred
• Comfortable working in a general oncology role with benign hematology focus
