Traveling Floor Technician

Traveling Floor Cleaner We are seeking a dependable and skilled Traveling Floor Cleaner to perform a wide range of floor care and general cleaning duties across multiple work sites. This position is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented facilities for employees, clients, and visitors. The role requires extensive travel—70% to 90% Monday through Friday—to support cleaning operations in various states, including tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, dusting, pressure washing, and equipment upkeep. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Military Occupational Specialty Code: 92S, 92Y, LS, DC Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation

Qualifications Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
