Job Title Child Autism Therapist (Entry-Level) – Action Behavior Centers, Denver, CO. Job Overview Direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 18 months to 8 years in a center-based setting. Work under supervision, complete treatment plans, collect data, write insurance notes, and apply supervisor feedback. Key Responsibilities Read and implement individual treatment plans and program descriptions. Collect data accurately during therapy sessions. Write insurance documentation and treatment notes. Respond to supervisor feedback during observation sessions. Engage children through play, movement, and fun therapeutic activities (e.g., singing, dancing, reading). Maintain a clean and safe play environment. Communicate effectively with peers, families, and supervisors. Travel to nearby centers when assigned. Lift and move children, up to 30 lbs, and perform physical tasks required for therapy. Required Qualifications At least 18 years of age. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields. Strong ability to lift, squat, bend, run, and remain energetic with young children. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Commitment to complete RBT certification within 20 days of employment (40-hour curriculum, competency assessment, exam). Experience or interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, paraprofessionals, direct support, or mental health settings is a plus.
