Job Title: Facility Operations Specialist Job Description

The selected candidate will be expected to wear multiple hats in the facility, showcasing versatility and adaptability. Cross-training across all processes in the facility will be emphasized to ensure a well-rounded skill set.

• Consistently lift up to 50lbs throughout the day.
• Break down raw materials efficiently.
• Fill sacks and stack them on pallets for the forklift operator.
• Move pallets of materials from one point to another within the facility.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and potentially some front-end loaders.

• Forklift operation and heavy equipment handling.
• Material handling and general labor experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient math skills for weighing out materials.
• Experience in operating mobile equipment such as sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, skid steers, skid loaders, bobcats, and railcars.

• Experience working in a dirty work environment.
• Experience in environments exposed to varying weather conditions.
• Prior forklift experience is advantageous.

The position operates on the 1st shift, from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The work environment involves exposure to dirty conditions and varying weather, requiring resilience and adaptability.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in La Porte,IN.
