Department: 02370 GCMG Sports Medicine: University - Sports Medicine Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pay Range: $26.55 – $39.85 per hour Overview Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI) – Mallard Creek is an outpatient orthopaedic and sports medicine clinic that provides injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return‑to‑activity programs. The athletic trainer works in collaboration with orthopaedic providers and rehab specialists to deliver evidence‑based care focused on restoring function and confidence in a patient‑centered setting. This position supports the clinic alongside an Advanced Practice Provider and Surgeon. Responsibilities Refer patients to the appropriate specialist or general practitioner as needed. Provide patient education regarding injury prevention, anatomy, body mechanics, and rehabilitation. Progress athletes through rehabilitation protocols and return them functionally to a state comparable to pre‑injury. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited curriculum established by the National Association of Athletic Trainers (NATA) Board of Certification. Experience Knowledge of the athletic training profession as normally acquired through academic experience, clinical affiliations, or previous work experience. Licensure / Certification Licensed as an Athletic Trainer (NATA Board of Certification) / applicable state athletic trainer association. Compensation Base compensation within the listed pay range, based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
