Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SCM / Order Management Techno-Functional Consultant with 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, Oracle Order Management, Supply Chain Management, and enterprise application solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and/or Oracle Cloud Applications , with a proven ability to analyze complex business requirements, translate them into scalable Oracle solutions, and drive successful implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, solution architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to assess business processes, facilitate solution design workshops, configure Oracle SCM and Order Management modules, support integrations and data migration, manage testing activities, and provide production support.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

1. Lead business requirements gathering and functional analysis for Oracle Order Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
2. Facilitate business process assessments, requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design workshops.
3. Analyze current-state business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend optimized, standardized, and automated solutions.
4. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, solution designs, process flows, and configuration requirements .
5. Evaluate solution alternatives based on business value, cost, risk, scalability, and technical feasibility.
6. Develop business cases and present recommendations to business leaders and senior stakeholders.
7. Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Oracle OM and SCM business processes.

Oracle SCM & Order Management

1. Configure and maintain Oracle OM and SCM modules in accordance with business requirements and Oracle best practices.
2. Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and related supply chain operations.
3. Work across functional areas including:

12. Analyze and resolve functional issues across integrated Oracle SCM processes.
13. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
14. Assess new Oracle product functionality and quarterly releases for potential business and process impacts.

Integration, Data & Technical Collaboration

1. Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, interfaces, reports, extensions, APIs, and data-related requirements .
2. Support integrations between Oracle SCM/OM and Finance, Warehouse Management, Transportation, and third-party systems.
3. Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
4. Work closely with developers, architects, integration teams, and database/technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
5. Utilize SQL and data analysis techniques to investigate issues, validate data, and support business requirements.
6. Assist with reporting and analytics requirements and data-driven business analysis.

Testing & Quality Assurance

1. Define functional testing strategies and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
2. Create and execute SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and functional test scripts .
3. Validate Oracle configurations against approved business requirements and functional specifications.
4. Coordinate defect identification, triage, analysis, resolution, and retesting throughout the testing lifecycle.
5. Support business users during UAT and ensure successful sign-off.
6. Conduct regression testing following Oracle quarterly releases, configuration changes, enhancements, and system updates.

Production Support & Troubleshooting

1. Provide functional production support for Oracle OM and SCM applications.
2. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional issues.
3. Perform detailed root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and system issues.
4. Recommend and implement permanent corrective actions and process improvements.
5. Work with technical and business teams to prioritize and resolve production issues within established service levels.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

Develop and maintain high-quality project and solution documentation, including:

1. Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
2. Functional Requirements / Functional Specifications
3. Solution Design Documents
4. Business Process Flows
5. Configuration Documents
6. Data Mapping and Migration Documents
7. Test Plans and Test Scripts
8. UAT Documentation
9. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
10. User Manuals
11. Training Materials
12. Knowledge Transfer Documentation

Training & Stakeholder Management

1. Conduct end-user training, knowledge-transfer sessions, and functional demonstrations.
2. Develop training materials and supporting documentation for business users.
3. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, and senior leadership.
4. Communicate complex technical and functional concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Manage competing priorities while maintaining delivery timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

Project Delivery

1. Support project planning, execution, and delivery using established project management methodologies and tools.
2. Participate in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
3. Contribute to project estimates, planning, risk assessments, issue management, and status reporting.
4. Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential delivery impacts and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
5. Support Oracle transformation, implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

1. 10+ years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Oracle Functional Consultant, Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant, or similar role.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Order Management and Oracle Supply Chain Management .
3. Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and/or Oracle Cloud Applications .
4. Extensive understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
5. Strong knowledge of supply chain operations and business processes.
6. Hands-on experience with Oracle functional configuration and solution design.
7. Experience with Oracle Inventory, Shipping, Logistics, Procurement , and related SCM functions.
8. Strong business process analysis, gap analysis, and process optimization capabilities.
9. Experience with Oracle integrations, interfaces, data migration, and enterprise system integration.
10. Experience developing and executing functional testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
11. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
12. Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
13. Experience with reporting, analytics, and data validation.
14. Ability to work effectively with business users, developers, architects, project managers, and senior leadership.
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
16. Experience working with project management methodologies and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with both Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud SCM .
2. Experience leading Oracle SCM transformation, implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
3. Strong expertise across Oracle Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, Procurement, and related SCM modules.
4. Experience integrating Oracle SCM/OM with Finance, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and third-party applications.
5. Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and release impact analysis.
6. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
7. Strong SQL, reporting, analytics, and data analysis experience.
8. Experience preparing business cases and presenting recommendations to executive leadership.
9. Experience working within large, complex, global organizations.
10. Oracle certifications are highly desirable.

Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management , or a related discipline.
2. Master's degree is a plus.
3. Relevant Oracle certifications are highly desirable.
