We are partnering with a well-respected School District in the La Plata, MD area that is looking for a highly-motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment and work in a fast paced setting. The client is seeking a candidate available for full time hours. The schedule will be 7.5 Hour Days Monday through Friday. This is an immediate need and the client is actively interviewing. Required Qualifications

Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant, School &bull

\tFull-Time Hours, Monday-Friday &bull

\tBachelors in Speech/Communication Sciences and Disorders or obtain a certificate (or has met educational requirements for position in state of practice) &bull

\tActive Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or alternate credential as required by state of practice.

Preferred Qualifications

•\tPreferred: ASHA SLPA Certification - C-SLPA •\tPrevious experience with Schools, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics preferred •\tClear, articulate communication skills •\tCompletion of a criminal record and background check
