Responsible for managing the full billing cycle including time entry review, invoice preparation, client billing compliance, and resolving billing discrepancies.

This is a full-time, immediate opportunity with standard business hours and occasional deadlines tied to monthly billing cycles.

This position is based in the Metro Atlanta area with a hybrid office flexibility depending on business needs.

The Legal Billing Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing while supporting attorneys and internal stakeholders with billing-related matters.

Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with firm and client guidelines

Ensure accuracy of time entries, billing rates, and expense allocations

Utilize Aderant or Elite 3E to manage billing workflows

Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing issues and inquiries

Maintain billing records and ensure compliance with client-specific requirements

Assist with month-end close and reporting activities

3+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment Hands-on experience with Aderant or Elite 3E is required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing systems
