Hospice Weekend RN

Overview Compassus is a home‑based care provider offering integrated home health, home infusion, palliative, and hospice services. We are looking for a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver quality patient care across hospice services. Responsibilities Provide hospice patient care Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm as needed. Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and participate in activities they enjoy. Build trusting and compassionate relationships with patients and families. Empower caregivers by educating them on appropriate care for their loved one. Assist patients and families in maintaining maximum comfort and coping during after‑hours emergency support. Flex schedule to meet agency staffing needs: weekend‑only, weeknight‑only, or alternating seven‑day on/off shifts. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals. Qualifications Valid RN license in the state where you work. Minimum of two years experience as a registered nurse; hospice experience preferred. Current CPR and BCLS certification.
