Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver timely and effective emergency care
• Manage patients presenting with a range of acuities, including trauma cases

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIHSS certification required
• Some trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma emergency environment
