Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking an efficient assistant property manager to assist in the management of the daily operations of our property, advertise vacant properties, and handle tenant relations. The Assistant Property Manager's responsibilities, coordinating maintenance work orders, enforcing leases, and preparing reports for Property Manager and upper leadership.
To be successful as Assistant Property Manager you should be able to ensure efficient daily operations and meet objectives. Ultimately, an outstanding Assistant Property Manager should be able to increase property value and satisfy tenant requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Attracting new tenants through advertising, property viewings, and encouraging referrals.
• Interviewing tenants and running credit checks.
• Enforcing lease agreements.
• Addressing tenant complaints, inspecting vacated units & rent-ready units.
• Assisting Property Manager with vendor relations
• Collecting rent, late payments, etc.
• Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, etc.
• Tracking notices of eviction, collections.

Requirements: High school diploma/GED. * Degree in property management, business administration or a related field a plus.

• Experience as a property manager, assistant property manager or in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of property regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi) is a huge advantage.
• Knowledge of city regulations and code enforcements a plus!
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, and must be detail oriented.
