Night Warehouse Manager

Job Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the operations at a warehouse to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Duties include preparing schedules for Warehouse Associates, training new employees on how to use machinery and monitoring compliance with safety standards. Job Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the warehouse, ensuring its efficient operation and troubleshooting problems as necessary. Manage daily receiving and put‑away of all inbound product as the Day Manager. Handle returns, picking and loading tasks, ensuring proper put‑away, loading sequences and required efficiency levels are maintained as the Night Manager. Set up and monitor all replenishment tasks daily. Report and investigate damage to equipment, product, and facilities occurring throughout the warehouse. Coordinate the repair and service of equipment as necessary. Ensure timely completion of all required operational and administrative tasks including attendance tracking, timekeeping, replenishment, waving, printing of labels, etc. Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and OSHA standards. Manage all warehouse employees: coaching, performance evaluations, counseling. Lead the Warehouse Team by example, clearly communicating roles, responsibilities, expectations, and deliverables. Foster a positive culture and unified workforce. Ensure all personnel utilize the Warehouse Management System for daily tasks. Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related area and some experience in a supervisory role. Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software. Results‑oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, and customer service skills. Ability to multi‑task, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines. Analytic and reporting skills. Sound judgement and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume team environment. Preferred Qualifications Complete working knowledge of Warehouse Management System. Physical Requirements Remain in a stationary position at times; communicate and operate a computer and telephone. Occasionally carry & lift up to 65 pounds. Occasionally reach overhead, squat and bend. Occasionally walk and stand for extended periods of time. Competencies Coordinate work of junior team members. Resolve varied, non‑routine issues.
