JOB SUMMARY These are temp-to-hire assignments that offer the opportunity to enhance your career by gaining valuable warehouse experience. This role involves the accurate and fast-paced picking of customer orders, ensuring the correct item, lot number, and quantity are assembled. Responsibilities also include preparing orders for shipment in a customer-friendly manner, checking cartons, and packing materials appropriately. You will be expected to follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Quality Standards and Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations. The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse with daily rotation of duties and COVID safety precautions in place. Key Responsibilities • Accurately and rapidly pick customer orders, verifying item, lot number, and quantity. • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring appropriate protection of products and proper shipment modes. • Check each carton and pack materials into boxes, containers, or onto pallets. • Follow departmental SOPs. • Comply with Quality Standards and Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Basic computer skills. • Minimum of one year of experience in a general warehousing or manufacturing environment. • Good attendance record. • Commitment to working as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications • SAP warehouse management experience. • Voice picking experience. Education: High School or equivalent
