Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Boston Children’s Hospital, a leading pediatric hospital recognized for comprehensive medical care, innovative research, and the education of healthcare professionals, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide high-quality, family-centered care to pediatric patients across a range of acute and chronic conditions, working closely with attending physicians, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate care. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will conduct patient histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications as allowed by licensure, and provide ongoing care coordination and follow-up for children and their families. You will serve as a key clinical resource to patients and caregivers, offering education on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and home care, while promoting health maintenance and disease prevention tailored to pediatric populations. Collaboration is central to this position: you will actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case conferences, and care planning meetings, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols that enhance safety, patient outcomes, and the family experience.
