Manager Account Management (Group Benefits)

We're Hiring | Manager, Account Management Location: Remote (Continental US) Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 + Annual Bonus + Benefits

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Account Management Manager to join our Group Voluntary Benefits division. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of account management professionals, drive client retention, and serve as a subject matter expert across products, services, and technology. This is a people-first leadership role that requires someone who can coach, build relationships, and operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional environment.

What You'll Do

• Support senior leadership with day-to-day management of the account management team, including service support and retention
• Onboard, train, and develop new account management professionals — giving them the tools to build strong client relationships from day one
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relationships through proactive communication and regular reporting
• Identify trends impacting account health and take initiative to strengthen client rapport
• Serve as a subject matter expert on products, services, and technology to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally on go-to-market strategy and organizational growth initiatives
• Quickly resolve client and broker escalations across technology, claims, billing, and beyond
• Stay current on best-in-class relationship management practices and provide ongoing coaching to your team

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional experience in a related field
• 4+ years of senior-level, supervisory, or managerial experience
• Proven background in Account Management or Account Executive roles with experience managing executive-level and brokerage relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to lead large, complex projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and review complex RFPs and contract language
• High level of technical proficiency and industry knowledge
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000
