divh2Rental Service Repair Technician/h2pAre you a hands-on technician who likes fixing problems, staying organized, and being the go-to person when things need to get done?/ppOrbitalum, an ITW company, currently has an opening for a Rental Service Repair Technician in its Austin, Tx rental facility. (Moving closer to Taylor, TX in July 2026). As a Service Repair Technician, youll handle everything from rental equipment management and repairs, shipping/receiving, and computer-based tasks. Youll also help manage day-to-day building needs, work directly with customers, and prioritize work as situations change./ph3How You Will Make An Impact:/h3ulliPerform computer related tasks such as order entry, inventory transactions, and shipping paperwork/liliResponsible for rental repairs including installing replacement parts to rebuild rental equipment/liliMaintain rental facility, inventory, and the equipment needed to test machines/liliLog equipment in and out of the system based on customer info provided/liliAble to complete repair estimates for customer-owned equipment/liliCommunicate with the sales team to understand customer requirements/liliKeep area clean and perform all duties in a safe effective and efficient manner/liliAdditional duties and tasks as assigned/li/ulh3What You Need To Do To Be Successful In This Role:/h3ulliStrong communication skills/liliProblem-solve as necessary/liliAbility to work independently/liliComfortable managing multiple tasks and reprioritizing as needed./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliHS diploma, GED and/or 1 year of relevant experience/liliAbility to interpret drawings and specifications./liliAptitude with various power tools preferred./liliMust possess and maintain a valid drivers license/liliMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs./liliBasic computer skills/knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs/liliOccasional travel for training, including overnight stays, may be required./li/ulpITW is an equal opportunity employer.
