Digital Services Acceleration Office Internship Summer 2027

Job Description

This is a full time (40 hours/week) 14-week onsite summer internship that will occur during one of the below time frames:

• May 3 - August 13 2027

• May 10 - August 20 2027

Open to hiring candidates that reside anywhere near our corporate office in Grand Rapids.

Job Summary

This internship will focus on various tasks activities and projects that support the organizations transformation and acceleration office function. This includes operational performance improvement initiatives project management identification and analysis of impacts on various KPIs current and future state analysis communications and facilitation of activities within various departments.

Essential Functions

• Evaluate and analyze current state processes
• Identify opportunities for improvements in partnership with organization leaders and finance teams
• Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
• Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
• May analyze department processes and other Corewell Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
• Communicates collaborates and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree in area of accountability.
  • May also be a recent graduate from an Associates or Bachelors degree program.
