Summary

A growing organization is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and serve as a trusted partner to leadership. This role will support recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, HR processes, and overall employee experience. The ideal candidate enjoys wearing multiple hats, working independently, and helping build structure within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities
Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts across field and office teams
Serve as a resource to managers and employees on HR-related matters
Support employee relations, performance management, and coaching initiatives
Administer benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation processes
Maintain compliance with California employment laws and HR best practices
Manage HR policies, procedures, employee records, and reporting
Oversee HRIS administration and process improvements
Partner with leadership on organizational needs, staffing plans, and employee development
Coordinate training initiatives and support ongoing employee growth
Manage offboarding activities and related documentation

Requirements
Experience operating in an HR lead or manager-level capacity
Strong understanding of California employment law and HR compliance
Experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, benefits, and HR operations
Familiarity with HRIS platforms; ADP experience preferred
Project-based industry experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
