Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Mentor therapy staff while promoting best clinical practices and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Alabama (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and helping patients achieve their highest level of independence.

Compensation & Benefits

• $60-$65/hour based on experience
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time employees
