Outreach Clinical Coordinator

Outreach Clinical Coordinator Notice: Funding available through 08/31/2027; continuance beyond that date is subject to the Department's operational needs. The University of New Mexico is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, organized Outreach Clinical Coordinator to support the innovative Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program (RESEP). We are looking for a coordinator who will play a vital role in supporting clinical operations and advancing community-based outreach efforts. This position works collaboratively with patients, faculty, residents, staff, and community partners to coordinate programs, manage logistics, and ensure the successful implementation of RESEP initiatives. Responsibilities Coordinate scheduling, patient engagement, and clinic logistics. Assist with program documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality care delivery and participate in outreach events, health fairs, and educational initiatives focused on radiation exposure awareness and prevention. Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders. Promote program services and increase community awareness and participation. Support culturally responsive and community-centered programming. Assist with RESEP grant activities, including data tracking, reporting, and program evaluation. Collect and manage data using systems such as REDCap or similar platforms. Help prepare materials, presentations, and reports for stakeholders and leadership. Provide general administrative support, including communications, scheduling, and correspondence. Assist with onboarding, coordination, and support of residents and trainees; contribute to continuous quality improvement and program development efforts. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution may substitute for experience on a year for year basis. Experience in healthcare, public health, community outreach, or program coordination preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for community health, environmental health, and health equity. Experience with data systems such as REDCap and Microsoft Office. Ability to schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, patients, guest speakers, conferences, and outreach activities. Team player with ability to be resourceful and work effectively independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Benefits & Working Conditions Hybrid work after probationary period. Travel 3–5 times a year outside Albuquerque for outreach activities; reliable transportation required.
