Rhode Island- Remote Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor Remote - United States About the Remote Licensed Therapist (1099 Contractor) role at Headspace Headspace is currently seeking part-time, independently licensed contractor therapists to provide direct, virtual care as part of a multidisciplinary team. We are accepting applications from providers licensed in Rhode Island. Contractor therapists are asked to offer a minimum of 5 sessions/week, with flexibility for more. Sessions are 60 min intake, 45 min follow-up. Pay rates $82-$87 per session in Rhode Island; ranges vary by state and confirmed by recruiter. All Headspace therapists must be licensed and reside in the US. Work must be performed within the U.S. Personal health information may not be accessed or used outside the U.S. (only 50 states, excluding territories). Why Work on the Headspace Network 12-month Headspace subscription Daily Meditations with Eve Flexibility – set your own schedule/hours Malpractice insurance coverage Learning and connection opportunities including free CE courses What you will do Provide high-quality, innovative tele‑therapy to Headspace patients over a HIPAA‑compliant video conferencing platform Complete, sign and lock clinical case notes in EMR within 48 hours of session (included in rate) Maintain personal database of licensure and other credentials Keep your availability calendar up to date Stay in regular communication with clinical leadership, checking work‑e mail on time and responding within 24 h even when not working Work with a collaborative care team including health coaches, other therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers What you will bring Available to offer at least 5 sessions per week; flex up when needed Night and weekend flexibility a plus Clinical competence in evidence‑based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement‑based care Knowledge, ability, and commitment to providing culturally responsive care Ability and willingness to deliver concurrent documentation. The session rate compensates the clinician for care delivery and notes.
