Human Resources Assistant

Unified Talent Group is partnered with an industry leader in the Sidney/Piqua OH area, in search of a Human Resource Assistant. The HR Assistant will support day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR needs. This role plays a key part in recruiting coordination, onboarding, HRIS data management, attendance tracking, payroll support, and employee engagement activities, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and requests Coordinate and conduct candidate interviews Support pre-employment, pre-boarding, and onboarding processes Complete employment eligibility documentation, including I-9s and E-Verify Plan and facilitate in-person new hire orientation Maintain and update employee records within HRIS systems Process employee job changes, compensation updates, and status changes Assist with employee engagement activities and company events Maintain confidentiality of employees and organizational information Qualifications 2–4 years of professional administrative experience; HR experience preferred Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion Required Skills Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools #J-18808-Ljbffr Unified Talent Group
