Location: Ambler, PA office and can also sit in Scottsdale, AZ (Remote is also an option but that is for a ROCKSTAR candidate)

Hybrid - 3 days week in office

Must be GC or US Citizen

Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience in a similar position "Cognos Framework Manager"

Position Summary

The Senior BI Developer will be a key member of the Data Science team, responsible for developing data visualizations and analytics that effectively communicate insights and drive business value. This role requires a creative, resourceful, and self-motivated individual.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business operations and effectively communicate data insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize a variety of tools (SQL, R, Python, Excel, etc.) to prepare data sets, pulling from multiple sources with varying levels of quality and complexity, often requiring extensive data manipulation.
• Design attractive and intuitive user interfaces that emphasize ease of use and clearly communicate complex data concepts.
• Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, and develop innovative solutions that address them meaningfully.
• Research and evaluate new data sources to support the derivation of new insights and visualizations.
• Communicate the status and progress of initiatives to management and stakeholders through written materials, presentations, and product demos.
• Stay current with new technology and design patterns to demonstrate continuous self-development.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

· Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools (Cognos, Power BI, SSRS, etc.) for data visualization and advanced report development.

· Exceptional design skills with the ability to visually articulate data.

· Demonstrated SQL expertise in developing complex scripts for data aggregation, cleansing, and preparation of varied and non-standard data sets.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a robust understanding of database design and structure.

· Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
