Location: Ambler, PA office and can also sit in Scottsdale, AZ (Remote is also an option but that is for a ROCKSTAR candidate)

Hybrid - 3 days week in office

Must be GC or US Citizen

Preferred Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience in a similar position "Cognos Framework Manager"

Position Summary

The Senior BI Developer will be a key member of the Data Science team, responsible for developing data visualizations and analytics that effectively communicate insights and drive business value. This role requires a creative, resourceful, and self-motivated individual.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business operations and effectively communicate data insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize a variety of tools (SQL, R, Python, Excel, etc.) to prepare data sets, pulling from multiple sources with varying levels of quality and complexity, often requiring extensive data manipulation.
• Design attractive and intuitive user interfaces that emphasize ease of use and clearly communicate complex data concepts.
• Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, and develop innovative solutions that address them meaningfully.
• Research and evaluate new data sources to support the derivation of new insights and visualizations.
• Communicate the status and progress of initiatives to management and stakeholders through written materials, presentations, and product demos.
• Stay current with new technology and design patterns to demonstrate continuous self-development.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools (Cognos, Power BI, SSRS, etc.) for data visualization and advanced report development.

Exceptional design skills with the ability to visually articulate data.

Demonstrated SQL expertise in developing complex scripts for data aggregation, cleansing, and preparation of varied and non-standard data sets.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a robust understanding of database design and structure.

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
