Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival to ensure timely care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Must possess BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Meditech or similar documentation systems.
