Did you know that our benefits start immediately after your completion of training?About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated Direct Support Professional BHA to join our SPIN Team. As a Direct Support Professional BHA, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with behavioral health needs in a compassionate and professional manner. Your main goal will be to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure that the highest level of care is provided to the people we support. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for helping others.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentDriver's license with at least one year of driving experienceMust be available to attend the 2.5 week hourly paid-training program during the hours of 8am-5pmExpectations:Minimum of 1 year's experience working with individuals with co-occurring disordersExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilitiesWorking experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care and positive behavioral support approachesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsResponsibilities:Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral health needsAssist individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of lifeCollaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plansMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatmentEnsure that all care is provided in accordance with industry standards and best practicesSkills:As a Direct Support Professional BHA, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with the people we support and their families. You will also use your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop and implement individualized care plans. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing the highest level of care to people we support.
