Finance Data Analyst

Job Title

Job Description: Pay Range: $77hr - $87hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles including P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency with AI tools, particularly Microsoft CoPilot, including the ability to structure prompts for workflow automation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience:

• Experience in data analytics and data modeling.
• Experience in financial analysis and planning.
• Experience working with financial data and reporting systems.
• Experience using automation and AI tools for data analysis and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple systems to generate meaningful insights.
• Prepare summaries and reports that highlight progress against financial plans and targets.
• Collaborate with finance teams and business partners to gather and organize required data.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations aligned with planning cycles.
• Monitor capital and operational spending against plan and identify variances or risks.
• Update and maintain standard financial reports including P&L and Balance Sheet reports.
• Support company-wide financial reporting and planning processes.
• Work with cross-functional and global teams to ensure accurate financial analysis and reporting.

Should Have:

• Understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling.
• Experience building dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
• Ability to derive actionable insights from financial data.
• Experience with automated data extraction and transformation tools.

Qualification and Education:
