CT Tech

Contract position for a CT Tech. This role requires working 3 night shifts. No call required. Candidates must be proficient as a dual modality CT/X-ray technologist.

Unit Characteristics: The unit has a total of 465 beds. There are 16 staff members on the unit. Staff includes mixed shifts for day and night. Patient ratios are 1:1. Equipment used includes GE and Siemens. EMR systems utilized are Meditech and Fuji PACS. Permanent positions are available on the unit. Typical procedures performed include bone marrow biopsies, cryoablations, microwave ablations, and CTA for coronary/pulmonary assessments. Additional procedures include liver biopsies and general orthopedic, body, and neuro scans. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. Dress code includes olive green tops and black scrub pants. Consideration for new equipment and technology available on the unit may entice candidates. The experience level of the current staff is a valuable asset. Various schedule options may also appeal to potential applicants.
