Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative for our food manufacturing company, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our range of products to various clients, including retailers, distributors, and food service businesses. Your passion for our products and Japanese food itself will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and expanding our market presence.

Essential Duties

• Sales Strategy Development: Identify and target potential customers within the food sector. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet company goals.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our product lines, including ingredients, benefits, and applications. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients.
• Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences. Provide feedback to management on market opportunities and challenges.
• Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
• Collaboration: Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Working Hours, Working Style: Work from the office as needed.

Working Location: Salary/Benefit

Entry-level: Torrance: $68K~ NJ: $70K~ Experienced: $75K$90K Health, dental, and eye insurance: 100% company-paid for the individual. (For Spouse members, the company pays 50%. Your child's insurance is currently under review.) IRA PTO SL Holidays Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but can be flexible.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales in the food industry, food service, restaurants, or related sectors are preferred but no specific experience in sales or the food sector is required; a passion for Japanese food and a willingness to learn are essential.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English. Candidates who speak Japanese and English will be given preference. (Chinese Language Big plus)
• Proven ability to negotiate and close sales effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attributes: Passion for food and a keen understanding of industry trends. Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
