Job Description:
Join a Labor and Delivery nursing team in Issaquah, Washington, for a 13-week travel contract on night shifts. You will care for patients experiencing labor and preterm labor while supporting low-risk antepartum and labor and delivery care, high-risk deliveries, OB-GYN procedures, and GYN surgeries. Responsibilities may include circulating, pre-op and post-op care, scrubbing, attending deliveries, couplet care, and transition nursery support. The assignment includes three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with the possibility of floating to postpartum or another labor and delivery unit. First-time travelers are welcome, and the team is known for camaraderie, book clubs, and group dinners.
Weather:
Expect cool temperatures, a mix of cloudy and rainy days, and occasional breaks of sunshine. Comfortable layers and a waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the area between shifts.
