ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiver (Hinesburg Road): Receives grocery, general merchandise and trade partner deliveries, processes invoices and damages, and supports accurate orders and inventory. Assists Trade Partners and Grocery Managers, stocks shelves and displays, and maintains safe, clean, and organized back room areas.

Assistant Produce Manager (Hinesburg Road): Supports daily Produce Department operations, including merchandising, ordering, inventory, product rotation, customer orders, training, and scheduling. Ensures product quality, customer service, sanitation, safety, and shrink control while assuming Manager responsibilities as needed.

Assistant Grocery Manager (Essex & Hinesburg Road): Supports the Grocery Manager with financial goals, team supervision, merchandising, product rotation, inventory levels, and department presentation to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Cake Decorator (Essex): Creates and decorates cakes, cupcakes, and bakery items according to customer requests and company standards. Maintains attractive displays, provides friendly service, and follows food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.

Meat Cutter (Essex & Shelburne Road): Cuts, trims, prepares, and packages meat products according to company standards and customer needs. Maintains product quality, supports inventory and customer service, and follows food safety and handling procedures.

Assistant Food Service Team Leader (Essex): Supports food court operations through team training, scheduling, inventory control, sales goals, and compliance with company and sanitation standards. May prepare large quantities of food and assist with recipes and cooking techniques.

Assistant Office Manager (Essex): Supervises Guest Service operations while maintaining cash controls, office security, and company policies. Processes and reports daily and weekly cash activities, including cashier funds, deposits, and control reports.

Assistant Bakery Manager (Shelburne Road): Supports bakery preparation, baking, merchandising, special orders, and product presentation. Maintains product availability, quality, variety, cleanliness, sanitation, customer service, inventory, shrink control, and financial responsibilities while assisting in the Manager’s absence.

Floating Starbucks Manager (Essex & Shelburne Road): Leads Starbucks operations by implementing programs, delegating responsibilities, and motivating the team to achieve business goals. Coaches Baristas, ensures excellent customer service and staffing, and reviews customer feedback and performance results to improve operations.

Evening Operations Manager (Shelburne Road): Leads evening operations as Manager on Duty, ensuring a friendly customer experience, proper staffing, store conditions, closing procedures, promotions, and merchandising. Resolves concerns, supports teammates, and enforces company, safety, sanitation, and loss-prevention standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate must be reliable and honest.
• Associate must possess integrity and professionalism in their position.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.
• Availability to work evenings and holidays are required for most of these positions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Basic literary skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of related experience.
