Senior Health Actuarial Role
Senior health actuarial role at Medica, a non-profit health plan. The position involves fee-for-service claims projections, rate level pricing, variance reporting, and supporting statutory reporting and financial audits. This role is based in Minnetonka, MN, Madison, WI, Omaha, NE, or St. Louis, MO with a hybrid work model.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years relevant experience beyond degree
- FSA or demonstrated performance under qualified actuary
- Health insurance actuarial experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and experience in SAS or SQL preferred
Tools: Excel Domain: Health insurance reserving and pricing Statutory reporting and actuarial opinions Medical cost trend analysis Fee-for-service claims projections
