Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Provide specialized speech-language pathology assessments and therapeutic interventions to patients with communication, speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans and promote patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical findings accurately.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication skills and manage disorders.
• Maintain adherence to facility policies, including bringing valid identification and wearing a photo badge during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state or federal license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Possess current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Be able to work flexible hours, typically weekdays, during contracted weeks.
